In line with the timeline for the preparation of the 19th Balkan Countries CHOD’s Conference, the 1st Education, Training And Exercises Sub-Working Group (ETESWG) Meeting was held on 04 February 2026 at the Armed Forces Officer’s Club in Athens.
Captain (Navy) Sotirios PADIMITROPOULOS HN, representing the host capital, chaired the meeting.
Attending in person were representatives from Ankara, Athens, Belgrade, Bucharest, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje, Sofia and Tirana.
The purpose of the meeting was to work on the tasks assigned to ETESWG by the Coordination Group and after fruitful discussions ETESWG members reached an agreement by signing the minutes of the meeting and prepared to present the results to the Coordination Group.
The 2nd ETESWG Meeting will be held in Athens on 30 March to 01 April 2026.
